Parts Lists for Gibson EB-2 Bass Guitar

The first parts booklet to include the EB-2 bass was produced in January of 1965. At this point the EB-2 had just been reissued, after a break in production between 1961-63 (see EB-2 timeline). The list suggests the original 1958-60 machine heads, rather than the Kluson 538 keys fitted beyond that time, though these are listed for the EB-0 and EB-3. Likewise, the handrest (HR-655CH) is listed for these solid bodies but not the EB-2 - though a few months after this list was published (probably June 1965), it and the underbridge mute were fitted as standard on all EB-2s.

The final parts list to reference the EB2 and EB2D basses was published in 1977, by which time these models were long deleted. Many parts are no longer listed, and in some cases Gibson simply suggests contemporary equivalents.
