The first parts booklet to include the EB-2 bass was produced in January of 1965. At this point the EB-2 had just been reissued, after a break in production between 1961-63 (see EB-2 timeline). The list suggests the original 1958-60 machine heads, rather than the Kluson 538 keys fitted beyond that time, though these are listed for the EB-0 and EB-3. Likewise, the handrest (HR-655CH) is listed for these solid bodies but not the EB-2 - though a few months after this list was published (probably June 1965), it and the underbridge mute were fitted as standard on all EB-2s.
