Gibson G-3 bass Pricing
The G-3 came in a range of different colours (COL), and an optional maple body with gloss finish (MPL). These 'extras' cost $40-$50 on top of the alder-bodied natural satin (NS) basses, which were by far the most popular. Even more expensive were the sunburst models (SB), described over the years as just Sunburst, Tobacco Sunburst and Antique Sunburst. Prices listed below are NS/MPL/COL/SB.

Gibson G3 bass for sale. I have loved owning this bass but I have acquired way too much gear over the past few years I??m off loading gear that I don??t bring out to gigs much. It sounds great and is definitely well loved. There is a good amount of buckle rash on the back and some pitting on the bridge / tuners as well as random nicks, scratches and dents here but that??s to be expected for a 50 year old rock and roll bass!
