Gibson G-3 bass Pricing

The G-3 came in a range of different colours (COL), and an optional maple body with gloss finish (MPL). These 'extras' cost $40-$50 on top of the alder-bodied natural satin (NS) basses, which were by far the most popular. Even more expensive were the sunburst models (SB), described over the years as just Sunburst, Tobacco Sunburst and Antique Sunburst. Prices listed below are NS/MPL/COL/SB
