This beautiful Gibson Les Paul Standard bass was produced at Gibson's Nashville plant in 2001. It is long scale, with a nice vintage sunburst bound front, natural (unbound) back and sides (except around the neck joint area) and ebony fretboard with trapezoid neck marker inlays. A great looking and highly effective bass! Unlike many earlier Les Paul basses, this model has a similar construction to the Les Paul Standard guitar, having a mahogany body with carved maple top, and set (glued in) mahogany neck.
