The EB-0 wiring loom is accessed by removing the back control plate, held in place with four screws. This is really a very simple circuit: just a single volume control, and a single tone control, two capacitors and an output jack. Examine the images, illustrations, and schematic below to see how the circuit is assembled.
This is a typical mid 1960s Gibson EB-0 bass circuit, in every way but for one: the tone pot has a smaller value than the volume, at 250kΩ (part BA-811-1831), compared to the usual 500kΩ. This is contrary to the standard schematic, and the January 1965 parts list, both published by Gibson. The volume pot is 500kΩ audio taper, with code 1346420, (which signifies manufacture by Centralab in week 20 of 1964) and part number BA811-1053.

But this is perhaps not an all that big exception, the aforementioned January 1965 parts list suggests the 250kΩ pot (BA-811-1831) for the tone control of all other Gibson single-pickup Gibson basses, and for one (of two) of all twin-pickup basses, except the EB6. A different (shorter shaft) 250kΩ pot would also seem to be widely used on the Epiphone Newport, although often with different capacitors.

The Gibson EB-0 schematic almost corresponds to the wiring in this bass, save the value of the tone potentiometer.
