John Entwistle. Who bassist ...mugs it up backstage with a Gibson G-3 bass ...which he claimed was "in my very most unfavourite shape and finish"... nice guy, John. Later he signed a Moog Product Endorsement contract and made plans to visit the Gibson factory around NAMM time ...to discuss the "Return of the Thunderbird" ... Stanley Signs
This summer, Stanley will be working with Gibson on his updated version of the "Gibson Bass"... featuring such design innovations as a wooden bridge and wooden nut. Stanley's decision to sign with the Gibson Advisory Board is a major coup for Norlin Artist Relations, and a heavy score for Gibson

I actually played a Gibson Grabber 3 with the three pickups... The guy sold it to me for 180 bucks and then heard how good it sounded and went damn! I played that for about 700 shows. Then I broke the neck again.
