Gibson RD Standard part list (1981). Gibson produced lists of components for their dealers every few years, helping customers source correct replacement parts for their basses. The most comprehensive list of the 1970s was published in 1977, though too early to include the RD bass series. By the time a new list had been compiled in 1981, the RD Standard had been deleted from the Gibson line, but was still included. The sheet for this bass is reproduced below.
