Gibson Gazette
WORK IN PROGRESS, PLEASE COME BACK AT A LATER DATE
The Gibson Gazette was Gibson's own promotional magazine, with news of the latest guitars, amplifiers, musicians using Gibsons, and offering advice to owners and dealers alike. It was published from the mid 1950s up until the early 1970s, and then again (although sporadically) in the eighties and 1990s. Anyone interested in Gibson's classic years will find these magazines an interesting read, giving a unique insight into the company, it's idea of product placement, and how it adapted to reflect the changing profile of it's customers.
This site does not reproduced these magazines in their entirety, but there are links to parts that appear on this network of sites.
I am always looking for issues of Gibson Gazette to complete my collection - do you have one not shown here?
