Alder or maple body, maple neck. The first necks were one-piece maple, most are a three-piece maple laminate.

The Grabber circuitry is very simple, two pots (volume - 300K audio taper part 70033, tone - 100K audio taper part 70031) and a capacitor (.047 mfd part 70057). The pickup is the Grabber sliding humbucker
