Les Paul Bass (1969-1971)
The first Les Paul Bass was a lo-impedance only instrument that required an adapter to play through standard amplifiers.

Les Paul bass

The Les Paul Bass did not appear until 1969; 17 years after the first Les Paul guitar. For 10 years three short scale lo-impedance models were produced, aimed primarily at the professional musician for recording purposes.

Les Paul Triumph (1971-1979)
In 1971 the Les Paul Bass was replaced with the triumph. The new model was much lighter with a slightly smaller body, but the same lo-impedance pickups and electronics.

Les Paul Signature (1973-1979)
The Les Paul Signature bass was a hollow body lo-impedance model.

Other Models (1992-date)
Since 1992 a number of Les Paul models have been available including the Les Paul Standard, Deluxe, Special, Smartwood, LPB1, LPB2 and LPB3.
