These shipping figures are not complete; there were definately EB-2s available in 1971 and 1972. The last time the EB-2 was included in a price list was October 1972. The EB-2 was certainly popular in the mid-sixties, outselling the EB-3 in all years between 1964-1968, and even the EB-0 in 67-68. As the influence of beat diminished and rock took over, EB-0 and EB-3 sales soared, and EB-2 sales floundered. Gibson donated 150 EB2s to the US Army in Viet Nam in February 1970, although it is unclear whether these instruments are included in these shipping figures. See also EB-0 shipping figures, EB-3 shipping figures, Epiphone Rivoli shipping figures.
